This eco-friendly mangrove retreat is set to open to guests early 2025!
Guess what? There's a new spot for you to get your nature fix—Luxeglamp Umm Al Quwain. This place is all about eco-conscious glamping and is set to welcome guests by the beginning of 2025.
Imagine chilling out in a cozy glass dome surrounded by those stunning mangrove trees. Sounds dreamy, right?
There are only gonna be 10 of these glass-domes, each spread out over 1,000 square feet. Every dome is gonna have a terrace, a plunge pool, a hammock, your own private sauna, and you'll get around on a wooden walkway that snakes through the mangroves. Adventure just got a whole lot fancier.
While you're there, you can dive into all sorts of nature activities. We're talking kayaking, nature strolls, and some top-tier stargazing. Plus, there's an on-site spa and restaurant that's begging for a visit.
Antony Thomas, the big cheese at Luxeglamp, spilled the beans to The National, saying, "We jumped on this idea because the reserve's biodiversity and pristine ecosystem are just begging for an eco-conscious glamping experience. Plus, it's right on the UAE's gorgeous coastline, so guests get the best of both land and sea adventures."
They’re going all out to keep it green too. Think no single-use plastics, the whole place running on solar power, and treating greywater. They're even using non-permanent structures to keep nature happy and healthy.
Luxeglamp is an Indian company with some cute glamping spots in Kodaikanal and Munnar. But this Umm Al Quwain location is set to be the world's first eco-friendly, glass-dome mangrove glamping retreat. We can't wait to snag a spot ourselves!
